The Genesee Brewery is bringing back a classic brand that hasn’t been around for a while, but it’s for a limited time.
The company says on Friday, October 25 it will bring back 12 Horse Ale, with a limited-edition release of what it says is the most requested Genesee beer of all time.
Genesee is bringing 12 Horse Ale back for the first time since 2012 in new packaging. The brewery says it’s now in stores across Rochester and other markets in 12-packs of 12-ounce cans.
The limited-release batch is only available while supplies last. The history of the beer is that it was inspired by the brewery’s use of Belgian Roan horses to deliver beer decades ago.
